Entry of pet animals brought directly into Denmark from non-EU member states through any other border crossing, airport or port is illegal.
Pet animals coming from Andorra, Faeroe Islands, Gibraltar, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and the Vatican can enter Denmark through any border crossing and are not subjected to documentary and identity checks by the competent authorities unless random checks are carried out.
